The cobblestone band concept was inspired by a photograph that I took in Charleston, S.C. of a cobblestone street.
From that picture, with the distance out of focus, the thought of the journey of our life came to me. Life is not often like an expressway, locked into cruise control, but more like travelon a cobblestone street. There are bigger steps and smaller ones. Each oneshould be taken with care as to avoid a misstep.
“The path of the cobblestoneband around the finger is wide enough for two. There is no beginning or end toremind us all that the journey is what is important, not the destination.”
